Buses from Amman Airport to Amman

For those that don’t want to hire a car in Amman or shell out 18 dinars for a taxi from the airport to the city center, taking the bus from Amman airport is a good option.

The Sariyah Airport Express bus leaves the Amman airport from Terminal 2. The bus is yellow, and is hard to miss.

You can purchase tickets for the Amman airport bus at the small ticket office in the arrivals hall of Terminal 2. Bus tickets cost 3 dinars for a one way ticket.

Buses to Amman run from 7am until 3am. They depart every hour on the hour from 7am until 11pm, then once at 1am and once at 3am.

Buses from Amman to the airport run from 6am until 4am. They depart every hour on the hour until 10pm, then once at 2am and once at 4am.

Buses from Amman airport to the city center make several stops at major destinations. You can ask the person at the ticket office where the best stop is for your hotel in Amman.
